Katie Mitchell
I've been writing since 1st grade, where Ms. V. had us creating our own books every month. Since then, I've obtained my degree in creative writing, taken part in student publications and reading performances and received honorable mention for one of my short stories.
My work experience includes writing in the B&B division of Expedia.com, interning with the news magazine of a local hospital and writing and editing for an alternative health company.
At the moment, I'm enjoying the freedom of being my own boss. In addition to writing for Suite101 and other freelance gigs, I'm working on a book project with my best friend and blogging 3 days a week.
My other passions include my hero-rockstar husband, Ireland, history, pescetarianism, yoga, cosmology and eco-conscious living in all regards.
